Following the Government’s recent announcement and further clarification from the RFU, it will not come as a shock to anyone to know that we have had to shut our clubhouse and premises down once again, to conform to the national lockdown requirements.
Not only this, but the RFU, have reverted back to stage A on the rugby pathway, certainly until the 3rd December which means that all rugby activity will stop immediately at Penryn.
The RFU are working very hard behind the scenes, and also the CRFU to get rugby back on our pitches, albeit in what form we’re not sure as yet. Rest assured, we will do our best to keep everyone informed, and you can all help us in that by sticking to the rules, keeping open all lines of communication, from the seniors and their respective coaches, through all age groups right down to the minis, volunteers and staff.
I am truly sorry to be the bearer of this news but we as a club have to conform to the law. And who knows, come the end period of this current lockdown there might be some good news, let’s all hope so.
