Penryn RFC are delighted to welcome back Martin Strick to the club as part of the coaching team.
Acting Head Coach, Marek Churcher, said “Stricky has built up a substantial amount of coaching experience over the past few years and he will be a welcome addition back at the Borough.
The club are moving in the right direction and over this season we have really worked hard to get the second team up and running. This has been down to the hard work of Jamie Truen and Stephen (Marf) Long and with Stricky joining us, he will be able to add the coaching aspect consistently each week (and no doubt make the odd appearance)."
Strick, who also played for Penryn, is delighted to return to the club and join the coaching team and will primarily head up the Saracens team.
"I’m excited about returning to the borough and join the coaching team of Marek, JC and Teddy. I have a young family now and it is important that I spend more time with them. I also want to further my coaching knowledge and working along side the 3 coaches will really help my development. I have spoken to Marek about the clubs vision and future and I think it is a brilliant and exciting time to be returning to the club I once played at" said Strick.
The Saracens coaching group will continue to grow, with some senior players stepping up as player/coaches.
