Penryn RFC are delighted to be able to announce that scrum half Taron Peacock will be rejoining the club from Camborne next season.
Head Coach, Marek Churcher, is excited about having Taron back in red and black. "I am delighted that Taron has chosen to return to his home club! He moved to Camborne to better his game and he has certainly done that under the guidance of Liam Chapple. Taron is a lively scrum half who likes to play with real pace, but what he will also bring is that experience that he has picked up playing for Camborne and Cornwall.
Having worked closely with Taron in the Cornwall squad i still believe that he has parts of his game he can still develop and I am looking forward to helping him develop his game even further.”
Taron also spoke of his excitement at returning ‘home’. "I’m very excited to be going back to where it all started for me. It’ll be nice to get out on the field with a few of my childhood friends that I went through the ranks with. From someone who has been at Penryn before and now returning the club it looks like it’s in a real good place and aiming to kick on. With Marek as Head Coach, I’m looking forward to improving my game more and to be coached by someone of his calibre. Once this pandemic is all over it’ll be nice to get into pre season and to meet with the lads, looking to work on things and push Penryn to their potential. I’d like to say a massive thank you to Camborne and give a special mention to Liam Chapple during my time there."
