Friday the 15th October, sees the much awaited event, "The Borough at 150 years: a light-hearted walk down memory lane”. With some wonderful speakers, this will be a ticket-only event.

The evening starts at 7.30pm and will be compered by former player Robin Taylor with guest speakers to include Ken Plummer, our very own home-grown England international player who will be talking about his memories as a player; Tim Nicholls, also a former player and current President of the Club will be running through over 100 years of facts and match records with a sweepstake on offer, proceeds for which will be going to the Salvation Army; Robert Edney, also a former player will also be contributing. He is a natural goldmine of hilarious stories both from the days of his father and from the era of the 15 Balls. Robin as compere, will also be talking about some of the legends of the past and his memories as a player and member of Penryn RFC.

Come along, ready with your own stories and memories because we really want to hear from as many of you as possible on the night so everyone can share in your own reminiscences. Some of you have been sending us old photographs which we have included in a slide show that will be featured on the night. We will also be joined by ‘Eight in a Bar’ who will be leading us in a sing-along so we can really raise the roof!

This is a ticket-only event and numbers are limited, so don’t miss out, get your tickets now to avoid disappointment.
