It will not have escaped your attention that we are embarking on our 150th celebrations this year, so as we approach the start of the 2021-22 season, there are a few dates for your diary.

We kick off with a Family Day on Sunday 5th September at which all our Youth Players will be required to register to play. They will also be measured up for a 150th commemorative T-Shirt. Each team will be given a staggered registration time, so keep an eye on the website and social media to check times.

Our first Men’s home game on Saturday 11th September will be Members Day at which our Director of Rugby, Marek Churcher will be giving a short talk on his vision for the Club and presenting the new kit for our 150th. If you haven’t already done so, there will be a facility to renew your membership on the day for non-playing members.

The Club will be hosting Its AGM on Friday 24th September at 6.45pm followed by the Gloucester Vs Leicester game on BT Sport. Needless to say, the bar will be open after the meeting so we hope you will attend the AGM and stay around to meet the newly elected Committee and have a drink or two.

Saturday 2nd October will be the first of the season’s ‘Super Saturdays’ with as much rugby as we can possibly fit in all in one day. More information to follow.

The Club will be presenting "The Borough at 150 years: a light-hearted walk down memory lane” on Friday 15th October. With some wonderful speakers and a whole array of memorabilia on show, this will be a ticket-only event, so keep an eye out for when they go on sale next month.

More dates for your diary:

Saturday 24th October – Home game and ‘Oktoberfest’ – beer will definitely feature on the day!

Saturday 6th November – Sponsor’s Day

Saturday 27th – Super Saturday

Saturday 11th December – Players’ reunion and party.

Sunday 26th December – Vs Falmouth for the 150 Cup

More information will be available in the coming weeks on the website and on social media.

Up the Borough!
