Penryn RFC were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former coach, player and long time supporter Anthony Hancock.
Known by many as ‘Stack’, Anthony was born and raised in Penryn and was a true man of the Borough. He had a huge impact on the lives of so many with his coaching, including a memorable tour to South Africa in 2004.
He pulled on the red and black many times and was often present and loud, supporting the club and watching his son Ross take to the field for the first XV.
As Stack said “RIP doesn’t mean Rest in Peace. It means Raised in Penryn.”
Stack's family would like you to know the funeral will be held at Penmount Crematorium on Friday 24th March at 1pm.
This will be followed by a wake at Penryn RFC.
They have requested that any donations be made to Parkinson’s UK
